Physiotherapy

What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy focuses on restoring movement, strength, and function to specific areas of the body that have been affected by pain, illness, injury, or disability. Our method adopts a ‘whole person’ holistic approach to health and wellbeing, engaging patients to be partners alongside our skilled physiotherapists in taking charge of their own health and recovery.

Physiotherapy can help people of all ages and is not only helpful during times of pain and injury, but can also prevent musculoskeletal problems from arising in the first place. With advice from an experienced specialist, and a small amount of effort, everybody has the ability to improve their physical wellbeing and live a better day to day life.

Our Physiotherapists

Our Physiotherapists are highly accredited, with high level training, and possess extensive knowledge of how to diagnose and manage a large range of musculoskeletal injuries. Our team at The Acumedics has excelled in cases with patients needing post fracture or postoperative rehabilitation, dealing with injury to tendons and ligaments, muscle injury, and more.

Our Physiotherapists also have expert knowledge to treat acute or chronic pain conditions. We use a wide range of treatment methods to facilitate fast recovery – such as Ultrasound therapy, electrotherapy, manual therapy, acupuncture and personalised physical exercise training.

Our goal is to help clients to recover independence and get back to the life they love.
